This painting is part of my Particle Adjective series of abstract landscape paintings. The process of painting happens through the focus on adjectives describing a space, rather than on a specific noun. In this painting, I was painting the experience looking through a floral space toward a subtle horizon where sky meets the earth.

Karen Williams-Brusubardis The Intersection of Memory and Imagination Growing up in rural western Wisconsin, I spent most of my childhood exploring the woods of my parents' 20+ acres of land. I was an introverted, quiet and sensitive child with a love of exploring both the world around me and the world inside my mind.
